Your hosts
Cédric grew up a few hundred metres from these two houses. He bought them back, then restored them without compromise.
One was his grandparents’ barn; the other, the home of a neighbour his grandmother visited every day. Put up for sale in the same year, a few months apart, they were both acquired by Cédric, who devoted three and a half years of work to turning them into two exceptional houses. Laetitia, his partner, prepares them and welcomes you there.

Houses and welcome
Laetitia
She prepares each house down to the smallest detail and welcomes you on arrival. Gentle and very sociable, hosting is what she loves most.
Our story
Both houses on the estate have a story, and it is the story of Cédric’s family. Here it is, house by house.

Soucirac
Le Belvédère was a small barn belonging to Cédric’s grandparents, where the sheep were brought in. As a child, he went there with his father and his uncle. His grandparents sold it to pay for central heating in their house; his uncle, who was attached to the place, always said he would buy it back if it ever came up for sale. He passed away before he had the chance.
The year after his passing, the private owner who had bought and roughly renovated the barn let Cédric’s father know that he wished to sell. Cédric did not hesitate. The house was rebuilt from the ground up, inside and out: terrace demolished and reconstructed, upper floor entirely remade, new staircase, new kitchen and bathroom, new wiring and air conditioning, every window and door replaced, new gate and fencing, an infinity pool facing the horizon. On the ground floor, the wooden post that stood in the middle of the sheepfold has stayed where it was, cleaned, with the marks of the years: a discreet reminder of what this house once was.

Ginouillac
In Ginouillac, La Bastide stands three hundred metres from the farm where Cédric grew up. A lady lived there alone for many years. Her name was Yvonne Gouloumès: exactly the same first name and surname as Cédric’s grandmother, with not the slightest family tie between the two neighbours. In her last years, it was nevertheless Cédric’s grandmother who called on her every day.
The house then passed by inheritance to another family, who fitted it out and let it for years, until it was no longer fit to be rented. Its owner long hesitated between keeping and selling it. He finally sold it to Cédric, the very year Le Belvédère came back on the market. Here, only the walls deserved to be kept. Everything else was demolished and built anew: the roof, the floor slab, the window sills and surrounds in dressed stone, every window and door, the entire interior, the boundary wall, the gate and its dressed-stone pillars, the fences. Old walls, and behind them an entirely new house.
2021 – 2025
Running two building sites at once, after Covid, with tradesmen hard to pin down, took three and a half years. The goal never changed: to do high-end, meaning houses full of character where everything would be new, comfortable and finished with care, from the bedding to the heated pools. The work was completed at the end of June 2025; the first guests arrived in July.
“I made these houses as if they were for me, without counting the cost.”
Our commitment
Each house is rented in its entirety, with its garden and private pool. Nothing is shared with other guests.
Laetitia welcomes you on arrival; if you arrive late, self check-in remains possible.

Reviews
We absolutely loved our stay at Cédric’s place. It was just perfect and we were all sad to leave. If you want somewhere to get away from everything, this is your place. Everything was finished to a high standard and plenty of room for the eight of us. Having a heated pool was an added bonus.
Amazing place to stay, extremely peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Cedric is extremely helpful and responsive. The heated infinity pool is perfect to watch the sunset and just relax. 5* hosting, 5* accommodation.
We had a wonderful stay! We were unfortunate with the weather, but we still made the best of it because the place was so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our trip. Highly recommend!
